Here are some color bars so that you may tweek your monitor for correct viewing
Adjust your monitor
brightness
(black level) so that you can just barely see the dimmest of the little boxes in the black field in the lower right. Then adjust your
contrast
control to suit your taste and ambient environment. You may have to do this a few times, as some monitor's controls are not well behaved and tend to interact.
